Welche Geschichten erzählen wir über die Natur und welche erzählt sie über uns?
In FOTOTREFF #43 sprechen Yana Wernicke und Saskia Groneberg über ihre fotografischen Arbeiten, die sich mit der Beziehung des Menschen zur Natur befassen. Mit ihren künstlerischen Fotografien eröffnen beide neue Perspektiven auf unser Miteinander mit Tieren, Pflanzen und Landschaften.
Mit “Bilder der Natur – Tiere, Pflanzen und wie wir sie sehen” wendet FOTOTREFF den Blick auf unsere Mitgeschöpfe. Wir hinterfragen das Verhältnis zwischen Mensch und Natur und laden zum gemeinsamen Nachdenken über unser Zusammenleben ein – darüber, wie wir Natur formen, manipulieren und kontrollieren, aber auch darüber, wie wir die Natur brauchen und was sie uns gibt.
Im zweiten Teil des Abends begrüßen wir die Kunstwissenschaftlerin Elena Korowin. Sie forscht zu den vielfältigen Verbindungen und Transfers von Kunst mit Politik, Kitsch und Krisen und stellt ihr Buch “Cat Content” vor.

Images of nature – animals, plants and how we see them
What stories do we tell about nature and what stories does nature tell about us?
In FOTOTREFF #43, Yana Wernicke and Saskia Groneberg talk about their photographic works, which deal with the relationship between humans and nature. With their artistic photographs, both open up new perspectives on our interaction with animals, plants and landscapes.
With „Images of nature – animals, plants and how we see them“, FOTOTREFF turns its focus to our fellow creatures. We question the relationship between humans and nature and invite reflection on our coexistence – on how we shape, manipulate, and control nature, but also on how we rely on it and what it provides for us.
In the second part of the evening, we welcome art historian Elena Korowin. She researches the diverse connections and transfers of art with politics, kitsch and crises and presents her book “Cat Content”.
